No surprise that the raw numbers of newly reported cases dropped, since yesterday's data covered the entire weekend; it was pleasant to see that the newly reported cases were down even compared to the average cases per day of said weekend. The (slight) drop in hospitalizations was also nice to see. The big jump in newly reported deaths, on the other hand, was not encouraging at all; today's 25 deaths are the highest single-day report since 30 deaths were reported on April 3. The seven-day averages were mixed, with that for percent-positive up while those for deaths, cases and hospitalizations all down.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 11 active and 1,104 cumulative cases as of September 20. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 11:45AM on May 28, 2021 reported 978 cumulative cases with 3 individuals in isolation, 943 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
