Deaths up and cases down day-over-day, which overall isn't all that encouraging; on the other hand, hospitalizations continue a long-term trend downward, which is quite encouraging. The seven-day averages are all down by tiny amounts. However, with the notable exception of the percent-positive rate, the absolute levels are still too damn high for comfort; nearly two thousand new cases is pretty much by definition a Bad Day in a state of seven million people.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 17 active and 2,758 cumulative cases as of February 17. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
