Wall-o-text, as the state reaches 1.5 million confirmed cases )

Compared to yesterday, most of today's numbers are improvements. Deaths are up again, but cases and hospitalizations are down, as are all four of the seven-day averages. On the other hand, none of those numbers are what I'd call particularly good; percent-positive is still over five percent (which pretty much guarantees that the official stats are missing lots of infections), and hospitals statewide still have less than ten percent of their non-ICU beds available. Not to mention that the state's total confirmed case count is now 1,502,248, breaking the one-and-a-half-million mark for the first time.

The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 67 active and 2,706 cumulative cases as of February 3. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
