Local COVID-19 updates
Jan. 8th, 2021 07:20 pmThis ran late today because the state changed one of the data formats in the raw data - again - and of course the only way I can find that sort of thing out is to have things blow up.
( Wall-o-text: another day, another record case count )
Remember yesterday, when the state hit a single-day record? Well, cases went up again - and the state passed the 400k confirmed case benchmark. Deaths are also up again. On the bright(er) side, the percent-positive rate is dropping, as are the COVID-19 patient and ICU counts.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 49 active and 565 cumulative cases as of January 6; I have no idea why there's no data for yesterday or today. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 9PM on December 15 reported 433 cumulative cases with 63 individuals in isolation, 345 persons recovered and 25 fatalities.
