Two weeks ago, the 7 day confirmed case average was 1,362.0, the 7 day confirmed deaths average was 8.0, the 7 day hospitalization average was 641.0, and the 7 day weighted average positivity rate was 2.28%.

The daily raw data file used to create this report is available here.

Even given yesterday's report covered three days, the day-to-day hike in newly reported deaths is troubling. Newly reported cases, while less than yesterday's report, are higher than the average cases per day covered by that report, so that's more bad news. Total hospitalization counts are also up, reversing the overall trend of the last couple of weeks. The seven-day averages are a mixed bag as well; those for cases and deaths are down slightly, while those for hospitalizations and percent-positive are up slightly. Overall, not a great day's news.

The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 18 active and 1,127 cumulative cases as of September 27. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 11:45AM on May 28, 2021 reported 978 cumulative cases with 3 individuals in isolation, 943 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
