Overall good news day-to-day; in particular, for only the third time since the state started reporting, the count of newly reported confirmed deaths statewide was zero. (The two previous occasions were June 30, 2020 and May 11, 2021.) Hopefully we'll see plenty more days like this. Also, the number of newly reported confirmed cases (33) was the lowest daily number yet; the previous low of 58 was on June 15, 2020. In further good news, estimated active cases were down yet again and hospitalizations were down slightly. The seven-day averages for cases, deaths and percent-positive continue to be at their Lowest Observed Values, and that for hospitalizations continues to drop.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing zero active and 981 cumulative cases as of June 12. There have been no new cases shown on this dashboard since June 2. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 11:45AM on May 28, 2021 reported 978 cumulative cases with 3 individuals in isolation, 943 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
