Local (and not-so-local) COVID-19 updates

edschweppeAs of 4PM this afternoon, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is reporting 150 more deaths from COVID-19 (for a total of 4,702 to date), 1,612 new cases (for a total of 75,333) and 14,391 more tests performed (for a total of 366,023).
In non-local news, two staffers in the White House complex have tested positive for the coronavirus; an aide to Vice President Pence and a valet to President Trump. Pence and Trump are both reportedly still virus-free, so far.
Meanwhile, the national unemployment rate hit 14.7% today, the worst since 1940. (To emphasis how fast this has hit, the national unemployment rate for February was 3.5%.)
The town of Acton has yet to post an update today; yesterday's report listed 111 confirmed cases in town; 58 of those being "cases in isolation that are actively being monitored".
