As of 4PM this afternoon, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is reporting one hundred thirteen more deaths from COVID-19 (for a total of 957 to date), 1,296 new cases (for a total of 28,163) and 4,502 more persons tested (for a total of 126,551). The state also noted that
There is day-to-day variability in cases reported by testing laboratories and no single day change is indicative of overall cases trends.
As of 8:15PM this evening, the town of Acton is reporting a total of 39 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in town (unchanged from yesterday).

Some good news from today's public briefing by Governor Baker: Massachusetts still has about half its hospital beds available statewide, including new field hospitals set up in Worcester, Boston and on Cape Cod. Testing, too, continues to go (relatively) well in the Commonwealth; Baker said that, as of yesterday,
Massachusetts was the third or fourth largest tester in the country. Twenty-eight testing sites are operating around the state.
Also worth noting: Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karen Polito both wearing face coverings in the pictures accompanying the Globe story.

When it comes to scraps of good news, I'll take what I can get.
