A little bit earlier this evening, the National Weather Service local weather page was showing a current temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit. At the same time, the NWS had also issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect tomorrow afternoon through Friday morning, and is forecasting heavy snows on Friday.
As the message stated, "A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED FOR THE POTENTIAL OF ACCUMULATING SNOW OF 6 OR MORE INCHES IN A 12 HOUR PERIOD OR 8 OR MORE INCHES IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD." I walked from work to North Station in shirtsleeves this afternoon ...
