Oh, joy. </sarcasm>
Confirmed deaths (45) up twenty-one percent from last week while confirmed cases (9,091) are up nearly fifteen percent from last week. Hospitalizations are down all of one person, to 590. This is the second week in a row of rising cases (we "only" had 6,623 back on September 8), they're climbing fast, and the official numbers are almost certainly an undercount given that home tests don't get reported.
Well, I guess all I can do is hope my latest booster will be effective (preferably against infection as well as serious acute disease and death) and pray that case rates will somehow miraculously start dropping again as winter approaches. Oh, and keep masking up indoors in public.
