Day-over-day, deaths and cases are both down for a change, but hospitalizations are up a bunch. The seven-day averages are mostly worse; deaths are down slightly, but cases and percent-positive are up again, and hospitalizations are up for the first time in a while. The seven-day case average is over a thousand for the first time since February 22. More precisely, the seven-day cases average is being reported as over a thousand for the first time since February 22; the state reports that average based on the date of the test, not when the test is reported to the state. Between March 22 and March 28, the state reported a total of 8,165 newly confirmed cases, which averages 1,166.45 cases/day; the average reported on the dashboard was 736.29.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 16 active and 2,910 cumulative cases as of April 6, and has not been updated since. In the most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
