Local (and not-so-local) COVID-19 updates

Deaths down, which isn't that surprising given yesterday's death data covered three days. Hospitalizations are also down a bit, but cases are up yet again. The seven-day averages for cases and percent-positive are down slightly compared to yesterday, but those for deaths and hospitalizations are up slightly. This looks to my semi-educated eyes like statistical noise on the day-over-day level, but definite upward trends in cases and percent-positivity over the last several weeks.
In national news, Saturday's Gridiron Dinner in Washington DC has turned out to be quite the spreader of COVID-19:

Surprise, surprise, surprise. This pandemic isn't over, and a big dinner without masks is still a good way to spread the coronavirus. Maybe seeing members of Congress and the Cabinet getting infected will cause the rest of the folks in DC to get a clue; I'm cynical enough to doubt it, but I'm also more than willing to be proven wrong.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 16 active and 2,902 cumulative cases as of April 5. In the most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
