Local COVID-19 updates
Apr. 5th, 2022 05:20 pm( Wall-o-text, covering 3 days of death data )
Well, shit. Deaths up (unsurprising since yesterday was a zero day, but still not good news), cases up (at least compared to averaging yesterday's three days of data), and hospitalizations up a bunch. The seven-day averages for cases and deaths are down a bit, but those for hospitalizations and percent-positive are up, and the latter two are much less affected by weekend data reporting weirdnesses. Cases are way, way up compared to two weeks ago, and I can't help but fear that hospitalizations and deaths are going to be following in short order.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 14 active and 2,896 cumulative cases as of April 4. In the most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
