Hey, today's data is
finally available! Of course, there's no word on
why it was delayed. On the other hand,
it was delayed last Wednesday, and
the Wednesday before that, so maybe there's just something about Wednesdays in May?
( Wall-o-text )Day-to-day differences aren't particularly good; newly reported deaths and cases are both up, as are the hospitalization counts. On the other hand, estimated active cases continue to trend downward, as do the seven-day averages for cases, hospitalizations and percent-positive. The weekly update on the fourteen-day incidence rate is encouraging, as that number (8.7 cases per 100k population) is below ten per 100k for the first time since the state started reporting it back in November.
I
do wish somebody would explain WTF is going on with the state's data distribtion, though ...
The town of Acton's current
