Well, so much for yesterday's hopefulness. Today, the day-to-day trends for deaths, cases and percent-positive are all upward, which are all not good. Hospitalizations were down, which is slightly more encouraging, and the estimated active case count was also down.
The definitely good news from the weekly data points? The fourteen-day average daily incidence rate is down for the first time in several weeks.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 24 active and 941 cumulative cases as of April 21. (It's also showing 26 active and 945 cumulative cases as of April 22. Time travel, perhaps? Or more likely somebody screwing up manual data entry.) The most recent "newsflash style update" at 4:45PM on April 13, 2021 reported 914 cumulative cases with 30 individuals in isolation, 852 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
