Local COVID-19 updates

So ... the good news is that we didn't set any records, I guess? Deaths are up day-to-day, cases are up day-to-day, percent-positive is up day-to-day, hospitalizations are up day-to-day. The closest thing I see to a bright spot is the downtick in the estimated active case count, and that number is affected by the weekend reporting drops. (The definition of "estimated active cases" is "the number of patients with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 21 days".)
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 56 active and 590 cumulative cases as of January 11. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 9PM on December 15 reported 433 cumulative cases with 63 individuals in isolation, 345 persons recovered and 25 fatalities.
