The weirdness of a tightly-knit world

I don't think it's weird that I read blogs by folks who write software.
I don't think it's weird that I read blogs by folks who knit.
I don't think it's that weird that I read blogs by folks who do both.
But I do think it's weird that, in the middle of an eleven-article series on the Windows context-menu API, the author takes a break to discuss the happenings backstage at Knitty Gritty, a television show on the Do It Yourself Network.
