...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING
TO 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
  12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern and
  northeastern Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 8 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Greatest snow accumulations at elevations
  of 1,000 feet or higher.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

The current local forecast calls for snow mixed with rain tomorrow morning, becoming all snow by noon, and ending sometime during the day Wednesday. This is going to be heavy, wet slop.

We didn't have a whole lot of snow during December, January and February. Naturally, what may ending up being the biggest storm of the season is taking place after we switch to Daylight Savings Time. (Daylight Savings Time being a different set of rants.)
