Local COVID-19 updates
Jun. 22nd, 2022 06:18 pm( Wall-o-text )
Since yesterday's figures covered four days of deaths, cases and tests, one might expect today's numbers to be down. However, deaths are way up compared to yesterday; in fact, today's 35 newly reported deaths are the highest reported since March 8 (which was a Tuesday report covering three days). Today's cases (1,636) are lower than yesterday's reported numbers, but much higher than those numbers averaged over the four days covered. At least the hospitalization counts are down compared to yesterday, as are the seven-day average for hospitalizations; however, the other three seven-day averages are all up.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 12 active and 3,574 cumulative cases as of June 21. In the most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
