Wall-o-text, covering 3 days of death data )

Today being Tuesday, day-over-day comparisons get messed up by today's deaths data covering three days and yesterday's case/test data also covering three days. Thus, the raw death count (22) is up a bunch from yesterday's 13, but when averaged over three days (6.7) is down substantially. Today's case count (1,368) is down a bunch from yesterday's 4,003, but is up slightly from yesterday averaged over three days (1,334). Hospitalizations are down compared to yesterday. Three of the four three-day averages are down as well, but percent-positive is up a bit (5.92% vs 5.61% yesterday). Compared to last week, things are definitely improving - but we still saw over eleven thousand new cases over the last week, while last year at this time the state had reported less than seven hundred new cases over the previous seven days. Yuck.

The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 31 active and 3,542 cumulative cases as of June 13. In the most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
