Deaths down compared to yesterday, which is encouraging; cases up a bunch, which isn't. Hospitalizations are down, but three of the four seven-day averages (deaths, cases, and percent-positive) are all up. This may just be day-to-day noise, as those seven-day averages are mostly down compared to last Friday. On the other hand, it's certainly not yet a clear and sustained downward trend, and nearly three thousand cases in one day is still way too damn many, especially as that's just the officially reported number and doesn't include all the folks who tested positive at home.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 23 active and 3,451 cumulative cases as of June 1, and has not been updated since. In the most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
