Local (and not-so-local) COVID-19 updates

Deaths up in raw count, but today's data includes the weekend, so the average is down a tad. (On the other hand, weekend reporting tends to be weird, so "down a tad" isn't that impressive.) Cases are down, but yesterday's data included the weekend, and today's count is well above that average. (Not good at all, but maybe it's just weekend reporting weirdness?) Hospitalizations are also up compared to yesterday, which is highly not good; so is the seven-day average for percent-positive.
Meanwhile, over half the new cases of COVID-19 in New England are the new BA.2 subvariant:

Oh, and Congress (read: Republican Senators) cannot/will not get their act together, so Federal COVID-19 programs are running out of money:

The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 14 active and 2,822 cumulative cases as of March 21. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 7PM on December 21, 2021, the town reported 1538 cumulative cases with 89 individuals in isolation, 1417 recovered and 32 fatalities.
