Local COVID-19 updates
Sep. 15th, 2021 05:05 pmToday's dashboard has an unpleasant surprise:
( Wall-o-text )
Day-over-day deaths are down, but still too high at 15. Day-over-day cases are way up, presumably due to the backlog mentioned above. The hospitalization counts are down slightly, but all the seven-day averages are up, and that's just not good at all.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 12 active and 1,090 cumulative cases as of September 14. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 11:45AM on May 28, 2021 reported 978 cumulative cases with 3 individuals in isolation, 943 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
Note, September 15, 2021: Today’s numbers include a backlog of testing results from September 10-September 13 not previously reported to DPH. This resulted in an increase to today’s reported case counts. Please note that these cases and tests are assigned to the day the specimen was collected.
