Local COVID-19 updates

The day-over-day changes are, once again, a mixed bag, with deaths down but cases and hospitalizations up. The seven-day average for percent-positive is down slightly, but the other three are all up noticeably. And, in hyper-local news, my home town is seeing a significant uptick in cases over the last couple of days (from eight active cases last Thursday to 25 currently). Not good at all.
The long Labor Day weekend is upon us, which means the state won't report anything until Tuesday. Not that I expect any good news the next few days.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 25 active and 1,072 cumulative cases as of September 2. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 11:45AM on May 28, 2021 reported 978 cumulative cases with 3 individuals in isolation, 943 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
