Nope, not good news. Cases are up a bunch - granted, this is three day of data, but the average is still over one hundred new cases per day. Deaths are up minimally, but hospitalizations are up quite a bit. Worse, we are now above the Lowest Observed Values on all four seven-day averages, and the trends are upward for all of them. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any news coverage mentioning these trends, so I have no idea how much attention the state is paying. I do know that the good folks at Covid Act Now are currently still showing Massachusetts as a low risk state, based on an incidence of 1.0 average daily new cases per 100k population - but they update their data early in the afternoon. I have a bad feeling that we're losing that rating tomorrow ...

The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing zero active and 981 cumulative cases as of July 11. There have been no new cases shown on this dashboard since June 2, over a month ago. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 11:45AM on May 28, 2021 reported 978 cumulative cases with 3 individuals in isolation, 943 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
