Local COVID-19 updates

Day-to-day deaths are down, always good to see; newly reported cases are down, but so are tests, so there may be weekend reporting wonkiness going on. Hopefully the state has recovered from whatever that one "large laboratory" messed up on Friday. Estimated total cases and hospitalization counts are all down. In less good news, the seven-day cases average is up (presumably due in large part to Saturday's big spike), but the other seven-day averages are all down compared to yesterday; all four are down compared to two weeks ago.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 8 active and 975 cumulative cases as of May 15. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 6PM on April 27, 2021 reported 951 cumulative cases with 13 individuals in isolation, 906 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
