Local COVID-19 updates

Day-to-day deaths and cases down; but newly reported tests are down a bunch more, which makes me suspect the drop in cases is more due to weekend reporting funkiness than any actual decline. The seven-day average percent positivity is down, but the seven-day average of confirmed cases is up, as is the number of estimated active cases. Upward trends in cases are bad, in case anyone was unaware. Plus, fifteen hundred new cases is still way too damn many; https://www.covidactnow.org/ has Massachusetts at number six in the nation today in daily cases per 100k population, at 22.1.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 21 active and 803 cumulative cases as of March 13. The figures for March 11 were 20 active and 800 cumulative cases; those for March 12 were 19 active and 800 cumulative cases. The most recent "newsflash style update" at 10PM on March 10, 2021 reported 791 cumulative cases with 18 individuals in isolation, 741 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
