Local COVID-19 updates
Mar. 6th, 2021 05:27 pm( Wall-o-text )
Day-to-day death up (bad), but cases and positivity both down (good). Hospitalizations also down (although the intubated population went up, and that's not good to see). The seven-day average of newly confirmed cases keeps ticking up, which is not encouraging; but it's still a ways below where we were two weeks ago.
The town of Acton's current Google Data Studio dashboard is showing 16 active and 782 cumulative cases as of March 5. (March 3 numbers were 18 active and 777 cumulative cases; March 4 numbers were 21 active and 780 cumulative cases; I have no idea why the dashboard wasn't updated either of those two days.) The most recent "newsflash style update" at 5PM on February 26, 2021 reported 766 cumulative cases with 27 individuals in isolation, 707 persons recovered and 32 fatalities.
