White Christmas. Very white Christmas.
Dec. 17th, 2007 09:50 pmAccording to the local station's weatherfolk, Boston has already received more snow this season than all of last winter. And we haven't even reached the winter solstice yet.
Fortunately, I was able to get the walk cleared of snow before the freezing rain converted said snow into cement - so it's quite passable today, and there's a decent chance of keeping it that way before the next thaw. The town didn't get their mini-plow out on the sidewalks before the deep freeze hit, though, so they're under eight to ten inches of basically solid ice for the foreseeable future.
