Today is primary election day in my Congressional district. As I noted earlier, our Man in Washington decided to take the post of UMass-Lowell chancellor, so we need a new Man in Washington. Or woman, as the case may be; last I heard, the leaders in the polls on the Democratic side were Nikki Tsongas (widow of the late Senator) and Eileen Donoghue (former mayor of Lowell, the biggest city in the district).
