Another day, another country
Jun. 30th, 2005 02:03 pmTuesday, the Canadian House of Commons voted to allow gay marriage. Yesterday, the Spanish Parliament did likewise.
No "activist judges" here; in both cases, these were popularly elected legislatures, and in both cases the bills passed by absolute majorities.
Oh, and the world still hasn't come to an end. Just in case anyone was wondering...
