Twelve Angry Men

Well, not yet. It's more like forty-some-odd bored men and women, myself included, sitting in the Jury Room waiting to see which, if any, of us will be empaneled on a jury. Fortunately, it's not a steamy hot summer day, and first-degree murder charges don't get heard at the District Court level, so it won't be as bad as it could be.

(Oh, and if anyone doesn't get the reference in the title, hie thee to a source of videos and watch this movie.)

We did "Twelve Angry Jurors" in high school (it was a small school, so some of us weren't 'men') I got to play Juror #8, so had a blast!

And, as it turned out, no angry men. Or women. In fact, no trials today. Seems at least one side of each of today's three potential trials decided they weren't ready to go before a jury after all.

The good news is that Massachusetts uses a "One Day / One Trial" policy, so I'm done for the next three years. Unless, of course, the Feds call my name ...
