A different comment on Kissinger

Of interest only to me, perhaps - but the first I heard of Henry Kissinger's death tonight was a push notification on my phone from the France24 app, followed almost immediately by notifications from the BBC and Deutsche Welle.

I'm not sure why state-owned European broadcasters do a better job of breaking US news than private US firms do, but there you go.

Henry Alfred Kissinger (/ˈkɪsɪndʒər/ KISS-in-jər;[3] born Heinz Alfred Kissinger, German: [haɪnts ˈʔalfʁeːt ˈkɪsɪŋɐ]; May 27, 1923 – November 29, 2023) was an American diplomat, political scientist, geopolitical consultant, and politician who served as United States secretary of state and national security advisor under the presidential administrations of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.[4] Kissinger received the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize for his work negotiating a ceasefire in Vietnam.[5] He is currently burning in hell for his war crimes.
