Oh my, 7/4!

And 9/4, and 10/4, and 9/2. And there's some 3/4 mixed in there as well, just because he's Leonard Bernstein and he can do that.

The first nine measures of the first movement are in, respectively, 6/4, 3/4, 3/8, 5/4, 2/4, 5/8, 6/4 and 2/4. Then we get two whole measures of 5/4 before the 7/4 starts.

Is there a recorded version you'd recommend?

I was mostly using the freely available MIDIs at http://www.cyberbass.com/Major_Works/Bernstein/bernstein_chichester_psalms.htm for practicing on my own. I haven't found a recording that I really like yet.

There is a nice performance from La Scala up on YouTube, although the last movement is rather awkwardly split into two pieces:
